xxi.

when the world
feels poised
to collapse,
heavy like the force of
a star imploding,

you shake
with rage, grief
for the death of order—
but, oh,
let it come,

let destruction
rush in, tearing you asunder.
surrender to uncertainty,
its fire burning clean
every guilt, every shame.

let it purge
all that binds you,
the logic, the limits,
everything keeping
you contained.

for you are destruction
and stardust,
ancient, mysterious, fierce;
so, collapse, bloom,
be born anew.
